Scotland offers a wide array of summer school options at our institutions all over the country. These programmes help provide the perfect opportunity to get a taster of studying in Scotland. With up to 17 hours of daylight in Scotland at the height of the summer months, you’re also still left with plenty of time to get out and explore the rest of Scotland after a day of study.
We love welcoming international exchange students and nearly all of Scotland’s universities have agreements in place for undergraduate student exchanges. Study exchanges in Scotland are offered by many institutions all over the world and you should check with your own university if they have an agreement in place.
As part of the European Union, we're proud to be involved in the EU's Erasmus Student Exchange Programme. Established in 1987, Erasmus covers more than 4,000 higher education institutions across 37 countries. The exchange allows students studying in Scotland to spend time studying at another institution throughout Europe, and also welcomes European students to Scotland for up to a year.
